VARIANT is our 36 inch direct drive portable evaporative cooler. With a massive 18,800cfm motor with cooling coverage of 5,100sqft . Direct-drive EC motor with variable speed controls. Gone are the days of low, medium, high speed controls now are the upgraded energy efficient EC drive motors with custom variable speed control 1-100. A default start setting can be saved into the machine with any preferred start up speed. Strong rotational molded antibacterial shell pairs with an galvanized exoskeleton frame with locking wheel casters allows 75% more durability. PAG fan blade adopts injection molding process to an aluminum hub machined for dynamic balance and performance with high efficiency and low noise. Using cutting edge balance technology enhances efficiency of air supply by 10x. Water valve adjustment, Control the flow of water with a simple turn of a valve on the side of the machine. Crazy super hot heat wave? open the valve all the way and really let that water flow! Seems semi muggy with high humidity but still warm? Dial down the water valve to combat the natural humidity in your climate to fully customize settings to ensure peak temperature control.
1. Warranty Coverage
BLUECO warrants that all covered components of its portable evaporative coolers will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential or commercial use for a period of three (3) years from the original date of purchase by original purchaser.
Covered components include, but are not limited to:
- Fan motor and internal wiring
- Water pump
- Control panel and electrical switches
- Float valve and water distribution system
- Structural housing (non-cosmetic defects)
- Casters/wheels and frame.
2. What This Warranty Covers
During the warranty period, if any covered component is found to be defective in materials or workmanship, BLUECO will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the defective component, or
- Replace the component with a new or refurbished part at no charge to the Customer
All replacement parts provided under this warranty are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days, whichever is longer.
3. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., filters, cosmetic deterioration)
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Damage due to improper installation, maintenance, or storage
- Operation in environments or with voltages not specified in the user manual
- Consumable items such as pads, filters, and hoses
- Damage from freezing, corrosion, hard water buildup, or mineral deposits
4. Warranty Claim Procedure
To file a warranty claim, the Customer must:
- Contact BLUECO Customer Service at 866-865-1902 or support@bluecobrand.com
- Provide proof of purchase (e.g., dated sales receipt)
- Provide model number, serial number, and description of the issue
- Follow return instructions, if applicable
5. Limitations and Exclusions
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. The Manufacturer is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, inconvenience, or commercial loss.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

How evaporative cooling works
Evaporative cooling reduces perceived heat by moving air through water-saturated media creating a cooler airflow stream that’s ideal for many open or high air-exchange environments.
Air passes through water-saturated media
As air moves across wetted pads/media, water evaporates into the airstream.
Evaporation absorbs heat
The phase change from liquid to vapor consumes heat energy, cooling the outgoing air.
Cooler air is delivered to the zone
The unit pushes cooled air outward best used with an exit path (open doors, docks, or airflow exchange).
Best performance tip
For strongest results, use evaporative cooling where there’s air exchange
(open bays, doors, docks, or ventilation paths) so air can move through the space efficiently.
