Six aviation-grade blades
Six blades of aviation-grade aluminum alloy span 18 ft. The alloy gives the fan its SKU: the AV in AV18.
Fluorocarbon finish
The King 18 ft is finished in fluorocarbon instead of standard powder coating, for a more durable finish that resists weather, UV, corrosion and fading. The color is Midnight Graphite Gray.
Forged hub wheel
The hub wheel is forged and T6 heat-treated, and its double-chassis design keeps it durable and steady.
Cardan joint
Modeled on the human joint, the Cardan joint lets the fan find its own vertical position whatever the slope of the building, and it reduces vibration while the fan runs.
Variable speed, 20–63 rpm
Variable speed control runs the six blades anywhere from 20 to 63 rpm. The control panel comes in the box.
